![]() I finally understood why more people went to Streets of Rage, it was clearly the better of the two games. Also it’s only 1 player…Huh? it’s a beat em up that’s one player. It was just too boring compared to 3 and there was only 2 characters to pick from. I couldn’t get passed Katana and every time I continued it took me all the way back to the beginning of stage 2. Then I played the original….which was horrible. It was just so much fun and you kill the end boss by punching him into an electrical box and zapping him to death A+++ I will play this game forever. I feel he is the staple of the franchise since he appears in every one….and Saturday night slam masters….and Marvel vs Capcom 3. The only character returning to this game was Haggar though….The ex-pro wrestling mayor of the city. It was way better than the second one and improved in every way, from the soundtrack to the controls, to the variety of moves that each character had. I played through the 3rd one next and boy was this one absolutely fantastic. I didn’t know what happened at the end because it caught me off guard and I was to busy laughing so hard. With the last hit you hit him he goes flying through the wall to his death. Just beat everyone up until you get to the boss and possibly rescue someone. I don’t think anyone really knows what was going on in Streets of Rage but I’m sure it’s the same kind of thing. I wasn’t really paying attention to the story because it’s a beat em up. This was the first time I really played a Final Fight game and I was kind of hopeful for the other 2 after playing this one. The controls were smooth and the sound effects were great. ![]() So like I said I started with Final Fight 2 and I really liked it. So I’ll write about them in the order I played them in I ended up playing through the whole game and decided to play through all of them and write about them. So what ended up happening is before I bought a copy of the 3rd one, I wanted to test out the one I got from Too Many Games… So I cleaned her up and fired it up. Like I’ve said in past entries, For me collecting is about playing the game….Not about it’s value, I would love to pass these along to my son someday for him to play. So I decided what the hell and picked up a bootleg. To complete the trilogy I would have to get the 3rd in the series which is the most expensive…. This was a game I had been looking for the right price for I had already had the original of the series. section before the game. While I was at Too Many Games, I picked up a copy of Final Fight 2.
